Fortis worked with Mace Facades on the delivery of the façade design and engineering forsome of the works at Greenwich Peninsula Gardens. The site is being developed by Knight Dragon which has been designed and documented by Axis Architects.
The 150-acre scheme will be providing over 430 new homes, aiding in the regeneration ofthe local landscape. This area is no stranger to feats of engineering, originally marshlands until it was drained by Dutch engineers in the 1500s. The region later became infamous for hanging pirates from gibbets in the 17th century, as well as the location for gunpowder magazines on the western banks, which were the government’s main distributors to fleets that were setting sail for further horizons.
