Façade Design + Engineering

The Salisbury Square Development will become The City of London’s latest major advance. The new scheme sits in the city’s Square Mile adjoining Fleet Street.

Designed by Eric Parry Architects and now being delivered by Mace, the 3 new buildings are individually unique and inject rejuvenation through their placement, permitting more access to space.

Fortis have had a small technical involvement and have assumed responsibility for some of the design dialogue for the terracotta fenestration to the Commercial building. We worked closely with Mace’s technical team and have innovated techniques that have not been used in this manner previously, combining modern and traditional approaches. Mock-ups have been completed and fit-and-function stress tested, looking forward to seeing the final installation.
