This was taken on-site at the Tower of London as the subjects combined are fairly rare and slightly amusing; for those who have not seen the archers at the Tower, they are steel sculptures, not an actual archer drawing aim. The temptation for some playful puns also resisted… (The Two Towers, To The Point, Take That! Even a slur on modernism avoided).

Here’s looking the other way around, if you zoom in you can work out where we were standing:

1. I prefer looking up from the Tower of London, but love the view looking down at an old fortress in the middle of a city.
2. I wonder what will cause those in The Shard to look up in the future. Both structures were designed in some way to look over or down.
